This was my first time receiving petite sizes, and I have to say, I was a little worried. I occasionally buy petite lengths, but not often. I’m 5’2″ which is technically petite, but they always seem to be too short (especially pants), so I tend to stick with average lengths. But I might need to start shopping petites more after how well these items fit!
Also, I do apologize for the quality of these photos. I was lazy and used my iPhone instead of my DSLR. Won’t make that mistake again!
Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant | 6 Petite | $78
THESE PANTS. I can’t begin to describe how comfortable these pants are! I could sleep in them they’re so comfy! I don’t normally wear petite-length pants, and was worried they might be too short, but I sent a picture to my sister and she agreed that I can pull them off as “cropped.”
Verdict: KEEP
Papermoon Norris Front Pocket Blouse | Medium Petite | $44
As soon as I saw this top in the box, I knew I liked it. And once I got it on, it was definitely a keeper. It will be easy to transition from summer to fall by just layering a cardigan or jacket over it. I also don’t have much blue in my wardrobe, so I liked that it would add some variety.
Verdict: KEEP
Daniel Rainn Eliza Crochet Detail Blouse | Medium Petite | $68
This might possibly be my favorite top EVER from Stitchfix! I don’t even know where to begin on how much I love it! The color: perfect. The pattern: perfect. Fit: perfect!
Verdict: Keep
THML Venita Aline Dress | Medium Petite | $68
And to round out this fabulous box, a great dress that is comfy, can be worn to work or dressed up for a night out, and fits great! Seriously, it’s like my stylist went through my closet and found pieces that not only I needed, but would be comfortable as well.
Verdict: KEEP
Bay to Baubles Mallory Hammered V Necklace | $28
I love the simplicity of this necklace, though I have to say, I wouldn’t have kept it if I wasn’t keeping everything else just because I really didn’t need another necklace.
Verdict: KEEP
Yep, I kept it all. With the 20% discount and the $20 styling fee credit, it brought the total from $286 to $194.50! For this deal-loving girl, that is music to my ears!
So which item was your favorite?
P.S. If you haven’t tried Stitchfix yet, follow this link to find out more: https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/3401437. Stitchfix doesn’t know who I am other than a loyal customer; this isn’t a sponsored post, but I do get a credit on my next fix if you sign up using it.
So I’ve been a little negligent in sharing my Stitchfix reviews the past two months, so I’m going to do two boxes in one post… bear with me as it will be a little long.
Also two notes before I begin: 1) You get to see the hair color change from red to blonde-ish. 2) I have a very large head. It’s annoying.
June’s Box:
Collective Concepts Mason Blouse (Medium) | $58
This was my least favorite shirt in my box, which means I just LIKED it, not loved it. But you’ll see from the rest of the items, it was one of my favorite boxes to-date. I ended up wanting to keep everything else so I figured I would keep this and get the “whole-box discount.”
Verdict: Keep
Pixley Tammi Printed Dress (Medium) | $68
I really need to wear this dress again soon because it is so dang cute! Plus it’s LINED! I’ve mentioned this before, but every dress should be lined. No worrying about your panties showing through lol!
Verdict: KEEP
Skies are Blue Brie Printed Dress (Medium) | $58
Another dress that I just loved! I feel like they went shopping in my mom’s closet from 25 years ago and pulled this out, but hey, that style is back again and I’m kind of liking it. Especially since it means I can wear a normal bra with it (because let’s be real, strapless bras suck).
Verdict: KEEP
Bancroft Ronda Pave Infinity & Stone Bracelet Set | $34
Completely forgot to get a picture of these, but believe me they’re very cute! I like stacking them with my Alex + Ani bracelets.
Verdict: Keep
Skies are Blue Kiska Scalloped Trim Blouse (Medium) | $48
Chevron and mint. Win-win in my book!
Verdict: KEEP
All-in-all, this was a great box! Since I kept everything, I got 25% off, plus my $20 styling fee credit. So What would’ve been $266 came down to $179.50.
July Box:
Zad Raya Leaf Pendant Necklace | $34
This necklace was so hard not keep. I’m obsessed with leaf jewelry, and don’t have anything like this. I just couldn’t justify the price at the time, but now I’m really regretting sending it back.
Ok, I am all about maxi skirts, and this one was no exception. But it was so LONG. Like, the waistband is practically sitting at my boobs in order to keep myself from tripping on it. Plus $68?! I just couldn’t do it.
Verdict: RETURNED
Kut From The Kloth Evy Dress (Size 6) | $98
This dress was so incredibly comfortable! I just didn’t care for the back. I felt like the dress lost the emphasis of the crotched detailing when I put a tank on, and there was no way I was going without one because of how low it came in the back.
Verdict: RETURNED
Loveappella Montel Dress (Medium) | $78
I love everything about this dress! From the high-low detail of the hem to the tie waist, it was just so cute and flattering. I couldn’t pass it up!
Verdict: KEEP
Unfortunately, the stylist who did my June box was unable to do my July box, and it showed. It just wasn’t the best, but I did get one dress I liked. Plus I had a $25 referral credit and my $20 styling fee credit, so the dress came down to like $17!
My next box will be here this week and I can’t wait! Hoping I get those white jeans I requested.
If you haven’t checked out Stitchfix yet, I’d love if you used my referral link. This isn’t a sponsored post or anything, but if you use my link I get a $25 credit on my next fix!
Another month, another fun box from Stitchfix! Also, please don’t judge my sad little ponytail too harshly. It was a rough hair day…
Urban Expressions Brittany Top Zip Crossbody Bag | $48
This bag was really cute and I loved the color, but it was little small for an every day bag. I really debated on keeping it for a special occasion clutch but I couldn’t justify the price.
Verdict: Returned
Skies are Blue Isa Lace Detail Top (Medium) | $48
I love, love, love this top. I’ve had my eye out for a top with the detail in the back like this one. Plus it fit perfectly. It was a no-brainer!
This top was so COMFORTABLE. Like I wanted to sleep in it comfortable. I just wasn’t loving the colors. It was a little bright for the colors I like right now. Plus it was a little snug and I was worried that one wash and it would be too tight.
Verdit: Returned
Ezra Nawny Tiered Back Knit Top (Medium) | $48
When I first saw this shirt in the box, I wondered why I was being sent a top with three-quarter length sleeves in the middle of May. But once I tried it on, I just loved it. Though it’s a little warm for me to wear it right now, I know it will get a lot of use come fall, so I figured it was worth it to hold on to.
Verdict: Keep
Kut From the Kloth Aviva Boyfriend Jean (Size 6) | $78
Boyfriend jeans are a hard fit for me, and these were no exception. I don’t know why, they just never sit right on me. And I didn’t care for the cropped leg either.
Verdit: Returned
So I kept two items this time! My boxes get better and better! I actually received my June box this weekend and I can’t wait to share it with you!
Also, if you are interested in trying it, I would LOVE it if you used my referral link: https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/3401437.
